So I live in Hawaii and I just received a large inhertence. Its more than enough to start a business and put a down payment for an average home. Hawaii is very business unfriendly, high cost of living and not much oppurtunities for business expansion since its not a big city compared to Seattle or L.A. I dont believe in renting a home, its better to own. I looked at alot of condos that are on sale and they are affordable compared to Hawaii. I am really skeptic about buying a condo because they don't appreciate as much as houses do and they are a bit harder to resell especially if its a 1 bedroom. I found some really nice homes in the Shoreline community outside of Seattle, WA. I know that there are asians in the community which I like because I am asian myself although some white people have mistaken me for mexican because I am taller, a bit bigger and have rounder eyes and thicker eye brows but anyways I am not familiar about the communities in Seattle. Is Shoreline a good community to invest in? How bad is the traffic to Seattle? If there are any better suggestions please put them down.
