Resolved Question: Where would be a good resort for Kids Holiday?

Where would be a good resort for kids (pre teens) holiday bu the beach. Looking for nice safe beach bit also some activity like shopping and sight-seeing if possible. We will hire car, so a little bit of traveling isn't a problem. We are from Singapore and have been to WA 7 times, so looking for something a bit different like shoreline fishing, swimming (shallow water swimming) and enjoying the scenic views of your beautiful country.
